When something feels off with your horse, it’s never just “bad behaviour.”

Are you struggling to get your horse to cooperate?

Do you dream of easier days at the barn, where both you and your horse enjoy each other’s company and the work you do together?

Maybe you want to compete at the next level, but something between you and your horse feels stuck.

Or perhaps you’re not yet comfortable handling your horse on your own, or you’re unsure where to begin when unwanted behaviors show up.

If any of this sounds familiar, you’re in the right place!

My Story

Hi! 👋 I’m Bridget, a lifelong horsewoman with over 25 years of equestrian experience, and the soul behind this work.

My journey with horses has taken me across 15 countries and through a broad spectrum of breeds, disciplines and partnerships. I was raised in New England, competing as a junior in the hunter/jumper and equitation divisions, where my love of horses and competition became deeply rooted. I later rode with the University of South Carolina’s equestrian team while completing a B.S. in Biology.

Over the years, I’ve worked with hunters, trail horses, show jumpers, eventers, OTTBs, green horses and stallions. This wide range of experience with horses of many temperaments, histories and needs, allows me to meet each partnership exactly where they are, no matter what challenges are presenting.

👉 My work is rooted in my extensive experience with groundwork, natural horsemanship and liberty, forming a solid foundation for addressing issues both on the ground and under saddle.

Roman, my own horse, has transformed into an incredible partner despite some very rocky beginnings! You’ll often see us jumping tackless at home, competing bitless in events and trail riding bridleless. All proof of what’s possible when communication is clear and trust has been established.

At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to mutual understanding, respect and connection beyond the traditional sense.

My approach combines bodywork and training to identify and address the root cause of what’s happening, rather than applying quick fixes to surface-level symptoms. By supporting your horse’s physical comfort, nervous system regulation and learning clear language, we create lasting change that strengthens your partnership over time.

If you’re looking for long-term solutions, want to better understand your horse or are ready to deepen the relationship you share, I’d love to work with you!

How I work

(and how it helps you)

I believe that most challenges with horses stem from a lack of clear communication. Horses speak through body language and behavior and what we often label as “naughty”, “mare-ish” or “rude” usually arises from one of three places: pain, fear or confusion.
